Surgery

At LAVet Hospital, we perform routine surgical services like spays and castrations. We also perform a wide variety of soft tissue surgeries such as biopsies, excisions of abnormal growths, removal of foreign materials causing obstruction in the digestive tract, and removal of bladder and urethral obstructions. We also handle emergency c-sections, some orthopedic and ophthalmic procedures, and more.

To ensure your pet’s safety, we carefully screen bloodwork on each patient prior to each surgery so that we can check for any abnormalities or conditions that may be problematic. This also enables us to tailor anesthetics specifically for your pet. Additionally, we monitor patients throughout all stages of surgery and recovery and provide both pre- and post-operative pain management.
