LAVet Hospital provides emergency care services to pet owners in Thibodaux, Louisiana, and the surrounding areas. In the event of an emergency during office hours, please call 985-492-6777.
We also offer after hours emergency services to ALL pet owners in Thibodaux, and the other nearby areas. In the event of an emergency outside office hours, we ask clients to call our regular office number listed above, and the answering service will take the call. The veterinarian on call will contact you to assess the situation and determine the best course of action.
We are also available for urgent care during office hours when your pet’s condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our staff will do their best to work you into the schedule that same day.
If a critical care patient needs overnight/ICU 24-hour care, after stabilizing the patient we recommend transfer to MedVet New Orleans.
